Red Runner Pizza in Sacramento

Good pizza, small location, good service, no amenities out in the public area, probably because it's so small, have to ask for everything, good pizza, don't use the same hands that handles money and makes pizza, you will lose some business that way. I'm coming back though and expect to be a repeat. Tessa, i understand your frustration but comments like "foreigners" implies you and i aren't and the last i checked, only the native Americans are native and the rest of us "foreigners".

Good cheap pizza

I ordered a pizza and wings on a recommendation from a friend in Sacramento. The pizza came earlier than expected, which was good. However, it all went downhill from there. The wings were overcooked, swimming in grease, and practically tasteless. The pizza crust was overdone, partially burned, and there were not one, but three, yes, THREE black hairs on two pieces of the pizza. And they were not "fuzzies", but full-on two inch black head hairs. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!

This is a pizza in and out joint to get a quick fix meal. I only like it because they offer halal meat for those who dont eat pork. So if you need pizza that you only can eat real meat go and try Red Runner Pizza.

Staff are always pleasant. Food is priced well and tastes great. We usually get the 24 wings for $16 which is an insenely low price for wings.

Worst place ever! The manager was really unprofessional. Very rude. Never get HALAL!!! food from here. We ordered HALAL chicken wings from here and it tastes like a dead rat and couldn't stop vomiting after only taking one bite of the chicken wing. I went back to get my refund with the food and the owner said don't piss me off and get the F**k out of my store just for asking for the refund the food I didn't eat. I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone and please be careful from getting food poisoning from their disgusting and old food.

GREATEST PIZZA EVER

The delivery was faster then said . However I am furious about the fact that the receipt said one thing but my online bank account said a lot more was taken out then what the total was. Be careful with that Asian guy that delivers. He will make sure to take out a good tip himself if you don't hand him a tip! I will be pressing charges!

My wife still raves about the extra delicious pizza we had. So far we have been here at least 5 times. Will come back for more.

Vegetarian pizza was one of the best I've had. Fast service. Easy online order. Very nice friendly staff. Great prices.

Friendly staff and quick service

Delivery driver never showed up. Store manager told me that it could take up to 3 days for a refund. The store manager was unapologetic and unconcerned. I asked him about his delivery drivers ability to do his job correctly. He didn't care. I will never buy another pizza from this place again!

The location makes you question how the pizza was going to be but after that it is only uphill from there. The staff was very friendly, I got the Garlic chicken and it was Amazing! Much better than BJs or California Pizza kitchen and for a delivery place it is unbeatable! Thank you, Red Runner.

They cannot always deliver, and that's a bummer. However, this pizza is AWESOME, it got good crust, crazy toppings, and great deals. Love this place.

Good halal pizza!

They hung up on me, had to drive all the way there to place my order then the owner apologized like he didn't care. $3 off my order did not raise my opinion of their horrible customer service. They charge more for delivery than they discounted my drive, time and hassle. Not recommended.

I ordered from them. Waited over an hour. They canceled my order. Said they called. Did not call. Said they went to the lobby of my hotel. I’m waiting there. They aren’t there. She lied about my order and their delivery terrible. I’m at a hotel. They could t call the room? Don’t go here.

Just disgusting period! First time ordering from here and the last. The so called HALAL chicken wings tasted like an old rat dead for months and left on the counter. The pizza was dry and old. Only two bites of the food made me throw up immediately. Went back to the store to get my refund for the untouched food and the owner said to me that he didn't care if I get food poisoning or end up in the hospital. He kicked me out of the store and told me never to come back. I don't recommend this place to anyone. WORST PLACE EVER!!!!

Best pizza I ever had and the staff was very polite.

On Valentine’s Day 2019, I ask them to deliver a pizza to my fiancé since we aren’t in the same state. They were patience with me and they delivered the pizza on time to the hotel I requested. Really great customer service and fiancé said the pizza was delicious. Thanks for making this day special

I called in today and the delivery was right on time. Pizza was very tasteful and the crust was so perfect. Because of the no contact, there was a miscommunication and I wasn't able to give a tip.

Just leaving this 5 star review from 2011 thats the last time i ate here and till this day i miss this pizza, it was the best pizza i have ever tried and the only pizza i would eat growing up, i cant wait to visit sacramento again and try it!! They should open more locations especially in socal!!
